Program Manager – Cisco Capital Extended Terms Strategy – Grade 11

 

What You’ll Do:

The Global Partner Organization (GPO) Partner Strategy & Programs team is responsible for leading strategic planning, innovation, and execution of the Cisco Partner Program, including all Partner incentives.  This role is part of the Programs team that leads the incentives across all Partner roles (Integrator, Provider, etc). This role will specifically be accountable for managing the current Cisco Extended Terms Financing (CETF) benefit to partners and distributors as well as work cross-functionally to design a long-term approach for CETF.  CETF is a benefit supporting partner cash flow offered to a set of partners and distributors that provides them with extended payment terms through Cisco approved lenders that is longer than Cisco’s net payment terms.  This benefit is global and varies by geography, thus the person leading this benefit must work globally and cross-functionally with Cisco Capital, who administers this benefit, to gain consensus on a long-term approach.  Specifically, your role will be responsible for:

·       All day-to-day reporting/analysis and communication. 

·       Engaging with regional leadership and Cisco Capital to optimize current enrollment and develop ongoing strategy to maximize participation while managing to the budget.

·       Developing executive communication, proposals and presentations on CETF.

·       Collaborating very closely with Cisco Capital, Cisco Global Partner Finance, Cisco Credit, GPO investment budget leaders and other partner program and incentives leaders.

Who We Are Looking For 

 

The ideal candidate will have: 

 

  • At least 5 years managing a partner program or incentive with a finance background.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills - ability to structure problem statements and be the catalyst for uncovering new ways to solve problems.
  • Excel and strong analytical and financial skills required. Prior finance and/or strategy & planning experiences are desired. 
  • A keen understanding of relationship development and influence in highly matrixed environments.
  • Experience in designing/driving complex projects, programs and processes at scale. 
  • In-depth experience of Cisco’s Partner Program and incentives, Partner roles and Routes to Market and individual incentive strategy.
  • Strong financial acumen including accounting rules, opex/contra funding rules, margin analysis, etc.
  • Comfortable in a remote team working environment; self-motivated and results-oriented. 
  • Desire for large amounts of teamwork and collaboration but still independently motivated.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – an ability to graphically represent new ideas and concepts to executive leaders. 
  • Senior-level skills in developing PPT content designed for executive-level and partner-facing audiences, including representation of analytical insights in a clear way.
  • Creative, strategic mind, ability to execute with a high sense of urgency. 
  • Understanding of how global markets differ and the ability to educate and integrate those unique needs into the program structure.
  • Flexibility with work schedule to accommodate multiple global time zones.
