We are looking to bring on a Professional Services Manager to help manage and direct Project Managers and Solutions Analysts as we deliver outstanding services to our clients. This role is being brought in to help manage the increasing demand for our services and will work closely with the Director of Professional Services as we scale.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities of the job function)

As the Professional Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving upon the delivery of our event services. Serving as the Professional Services leader, it is extremely vital to work cross functionally.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Professional Services to improve existing Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Analyze PS utilization, revenue, and other PS reports, and assist the Director of Professional Services in achieving PS targets.
  • Work cross-functionally with PS, AEs, CSMs, Support team, Customer Enablement team, and Marketing team.
  • Work with Sales and Product teams to identify new potential PS offerings.
  • Facilitate discussions with Customers and Socio’s AEs and CSMs to fully understand the scope of the work and LoE required and help further the sales cycle.
  • Document knowledge-sharing and help create SOWs.
  • Represent PS team to Internal as well as External stakeholders through various sales and marketing activities.
  • Assist direct reports in personal and professional development by providing regular feedback via 1:1s, coaching and guidance on personal development, and encouraging direct reports to take ownership of their personal career path.

Who You'll Work With

Socio’s Professional Services Manager will work directly with customers, the Professional Services team, and other internal business units. The primary responsibility is to work with Sales, Customer Success and Project Managers to deliver an outstanding customer experience while effectively leading the Professional Services resources.

Who You Are

We are looking for an individual that can help scale and improve upon our existing services team. You should be very motivated by leading both people and processes.

While prior event industry experience is not required, experience within a Professional Services organization is needed. This is to understand and handle utilization of the team members.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • Demonstrated ability in a PS Management role.
  • Proven experience in a SaaS or PS role.
  • Experience creating scalable PS processes and offerings
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environment
  • A process driven attitude and an understanding of Project Management/Implementation methodologies.
  • Former experience within SMB as well Enterprise verticals.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% both domestic and international for Customer events.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in the Meetings and Events Industry.
  • Experience with Accelo, Process.St, Salesforce, and/or Hubspot.
