You will join the Supply Operation Team who owns managing end to end PCBA supply operation with Contract Manufacturer(s). The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with people with great Supply Chain Management knowledge and experience in managing Contract Manufacturers. What You’ll Do

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for managing all supply operation deliverables to meet organization goals. Responsibilities encompass end to end material management (material clear to build, PCBA supply commit & commit accuracy, PCBA on time delivery to direct fulfillment sites), inventory management, excess & obsolete management, engineering change management, NMS management, product transfer, CM audit, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for meeting quarterly build plan for the assigned product families.
  • Ensure CM pipelines material per Cisco demand at component lead time.
  • Drive flawless execution and timely due diligence by CM in material management.

·       Manage material clear to build process with CM, ensure there is clear line of sight on material CTB and critical components gating CTB.

·       Escalate critical component gating CTB with CSP/GSM upon CM due diligence completion, work with PPF and CSP for allocation in the event the component is globally short.

·       Drive CM commit to Cisco demand, ensure CM maximizes material CTB in their commit.

·       Support product transfer, manage buffer build, site ramp up/down, material transfer and excess disposition.

·       Work autonomously to mitigate all supply operation challenges with CM and cross functional teams, effectively communicate risk and recovery plan with stake holders.

·       Collaborate with CM & cross functional teams to ensure capacity is right sized and utilization is kept below threshold with rooms to support demand upside; per contractual agreement.

·       Work closely with PPF team to support product lead time goal, build target and build priority.

·       Manage CM performance, drive CM to meet key metrics (SCR Coverage, SCR Accuracy, Build Target Coverage, OTC, Delivery to CT2R, Inventory Commit).

·       Collaborate with CM, Inventory Management team, PPF, Hub team and CSP/GSM to drive inventory optimization and support Cisco inventory initiatives.

·       In the event of material excess driven by demand reductions, component LT reductions or other valid reasons; work with CM, Inventory team and CSP/GSM to mitigate excesses via order push out, cancellation, site balance, PO swap, buy back, etc.

·       Effectively drive engineering change management with CM, ensure proper ECO scheduling, ensure no surprises in supply continuity or excess and ensure smooth ECO transition.

·       Manage E&O reserve & scrap, BAAO TAC cost, NMS, PPV/OT cost.

·       Responsible for smooth NPI to Sustaining transition.

·       Collaborate with central material organization to develop, deploy & adopt central initiatives.

·       Program manage &/or develop transformational solutions to address operational challenges of a complex nature which may require cross-functional/cross organizational resolution.

Qualifications

·       BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

·       > 5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement or material planning for multinational or global company

·       Strong CM management skill, strong knowledge in manufacturing processes & procedures

·       Demonstrated experience in seamless product transfer and/or new site bring up

·       Effective communication and collaboration skills with passion for problem solving

·       Good data integrity, good follow up skill

·       Good team player, ability to work well with people from different region and culture

·       Ability to work independently & autonomously with minimum guidance

·       Ability to develop solutions to complex problem

·       Ability to influence others to achieve common goal

·       Flexible to take on different assignment as project evolve / change

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
