As a Product Manager responsible for various product extensions to Cisco DNA Spaces, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build a layer that works with more network infrastructure component leading to shophisticated outcomes offered as a service. You will deliver outsized value for our customers, unlock new opportunities and build things that scale and amaze customers. You will also be able to identify use cases that can unlock value of the infrastructure itself.

 

Key responsibilities include

  • Working across various Cisco business units to ensure that various platform extensions are prioritised  across their DPL and delivered in a manner that the final outcome is GTM ready
  • Scale the GTM motions by working with the teams on running Awareness and Adoption Campaigns
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other internal and external stakeholders to identify new opportunities and drive product enhancements to completion
  • Be the technical expert for each extension build along with the independent BU that would own the integration (for eg an integration with the ISE PX-GRID would allow you to support all customers that have extension ISE deployments and how they could use the extension to benefit from the 802.1X data) 
  • Fully understand the customer journey with regards to onboarding, installing, and supporting these extensions and other similar technology
  • Articulate customer use-cases to engineering and act as the primary bridge between customer feedback and requirements and R&D
  • Identify areas for growth and create strategic product roadmaps to help drive adoption of the product and differentiating features
  • Collaborate with Spaces eco system partners to identify and deliver unique and differentiated service outcomes to our customer on and over what is delivered via Spaces
  • You will need to Develop new product features and functionality in partnership with customers, engineering, sales, partners, and other Cisco business units. 
  • You will work with product managers, engineers, researchers, data scientists, and partners who are leaders in their fields  

 

Skills required

  • Strong understanding of wireless onboarding and location technologies
  • Have managed a product in the past including experience with product launches and outreach campaigns 
  • Proven ability to drive technical roadmaps and
  • Strong presentation skills and organizational abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent teamwork and people skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards long-term goals
  • Flexibility and openness to change
  • Capability to make decisions based on priorities and business decisions
  • Should have product management background or similar responsibilities

 

Experience

  • 10+ or more years as a product manager or sales engineer in the field of netwotking - wireless, IoT - BLE and non BLE
  • Master degree or higher in a field related to wireless, locations services or IoT
  • Experience building or scaling a startup or new product
