CX is seeking a partner renewal manager focused on driving the renew rate of Cisco's recurring revenue within our partner community.
The successful PRM candidate will own the "intersection" of Cisco's Perform and Transform strategies, simultaneously delivering today's improvements while building sustainable renewals practices for a select group of partners.
Cisco's recurring revenue offers include both Services and Software, so the candidate will possess a familiarity with both families, a measurable track record of Services and Software sales, and a demonstrated proficiency of delivering partner transformation.
The role will also include working cross-functionally with Cisco Sales and Cisco Customer Experience, and across and within both the global and regional partner organizations.
KEY OBJECTIVES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivering in-year/in-quarter renew rate performance improvements, consistent with (and ideally exceeding) Cisco's targeted increase.
Delivering 1:1 partner engagement, identifying and delivering the individual partner value exchange for renewals profitability
Delivering 1: Many partner engagements, evangelizing and scaling best practice adoption to address the three primary "Gaps" that result in a non-renewal
Closing the "Data Gap", that prevents a partner or customer from seeing the renewal
Closing the "Enablement Gap", that prevents the partner from possessing the skills required to drive adoption, use, and activation
Closing the "Profitability Gap", which prevents a partner or customer from associating the renewal event with a defined business outcome or improved margin
Delivering partner and distributor awareness of automation assets and platforms, including Cisco Commerce IT APIs, Cisco Digital Lifecycle Advantage, Cisco CX Install Base Methodologies, Total Partner View, Cisco Ready
Management professional with direct experience with Cisco's ecosystem partners, including DVARs, Distributors, Systems Integrators, and Service Providers
6+ years Strategic and Sales management experience. Executive presence working with C-Suite
Ability to manage and orchestrate complex large-scale cross-functional (internal and external teams) projects/programs with a focus on results (specifically the renew rate of Cisco's recurring revenue offers).
Comfort and familiarity with Cisco IT, Cisco Partner Services (CPS), CX
Execution and operational experience including consultative selling process. Simply put, do you know your audience.
A proven ability to build the link between technology and business impact, with strong understanding of business processes and operations.
