What you will do: 

 As the Global DCN Software SBDM, you will drive DCN software sales at our largest and most critical customers. You will work with account teams to make sure we are selling value attaching new solutions like Nexus Insights to deals, ensuring they are adopted. Additionally, you will work on creating opportunities in the install base for Nexus Insights / Nexus Dashboard.

You will take all the lessons learned and help us scale those across the larger Cisco sales organization.

The team is looking for an experienced leader who is able to work cross-functionally, cross-domain and excels at leading in a dynamic environment.

Who You’ll work with:

Not only will you be aligning with our account team moving specific deals forward but with our  Global Data Center sales team. Another aspect of being part of the Global sales or is that you will work with our product engineers, product marketing,  and our partners. We help provide field input and direction into engineering and drive product knowledge out to the field.  We help our sales force, partners, and customers stay up to date on the latest product enhancements, as well as understand the value, and unique advantages of our solutions. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of Cisco’s DC portfolio including software, networking and computing solutions.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

·        More than 5 years of presales or SBDM sales experience.

·        Working knowledge of Cisco DC Networking Portfolio (ACI, Nexus), EN and Routing experience a plus.

·        Ability to travel as much as 20% of the time 

·        Flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.

·        Knowledge of the competitive landscape

·        Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills
