What You’ll Do

You will manage a team of high-impact Business Development Managers who will be creating new and transformational business solutions for our top Enterprise customers. You will proactively cultivate relationships with customer stakeholders and key technology partners, ensuring the appropriate experts are engaged to deliver trusted expertise through client sessions and leading pre-sales motions.

  • Setting and driving the strategy for discovering and developing new services growth areas and go to market plans for our Enterprise customers
  • Mentoring your team to nurture positive interactions and relationships with Sales, Customer Experience, and Customer executives to validate/prioritize engagement opportunities and shape services sales strategy
  • Leading and managing a team of Business Development Management professionals in all aspects of lifecycle service solution development for fully qualified opportunities by applying expertise in architectures, technologies, consultancy for services design
  • Aligning with product management in the development and introduction of new service offerings
  • Reporting on all aspects of Business Development for our Theater including efficiency, successes, and areas of improvement.

You will be part of the Cisco Customer Experience (CX) organization that is leading our company transforming to software and services. In this role you will work across a highly diverse cross-functional team including Customer Success, Sales, Product Management and Delivery. You will build positive relationships across customers from networking to executive levels. You'll be a key member on a high-performing team that exists to help Cisco drive profitable growth.

Who You Are

You are a leader with strong sales, technology and business development expertise. You have keen business acumen and inter-personal skills and are sophisticated at translating customer needs into Cisco solutions. The ideal candidate brings an external point of view on technology direction in addition to broad knowledge across Cisco’s services portfolio. This highly visible position requires an individual with outstanding leadership skills, oral and written communication skills to consult, communicate and position Cisco’s value and capabilities to a client executive audience.

  • 5 years consulting services delivery in the large enterprise sector
  • 5 years technical customer facing solution development in pre-sales roles
  • 5 years leading people
  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred
  • Strong client presence and executive level engagement experience
  • Ability to attract, develop and retain diverse talent
  • Executive level communications and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of how to apply next generation software and services technical solutions to customer business objectives
