Working directly with the Head of Monitoring, you will play a meaningful and integral part in our continuous approach to improving and adjusting our monitoring approach, processes and tools.

What We Do:

  • We work with various teams across the business to audit and advise on existing alerting and monitoring.
  • Active involvement with post incident reviews for alerting and thresholds
  • Providing advice on standard monitoring and alerting methodologies for new and existing deployments and platforms.
  • We define and drive the implementation of tools and strategy across the business.
  • The investigation and provision of solutions for bespoke monitoring and alerting scenarios.
  • Direct involvement with customer focused conversations regarding supporting their business needs and contractual requirements.
  • We are intimately involved in the business from the technical all the way through to the commercial level

Who You Are:

  • first hand experience of working in a monitoring and alert driven environment
  • an ability to communicate effectively across teams
  • an understanding of various monitoring and alerting tools, such as time series databases and visualisation tools
  • an appreciation for data driven analysis
  • the ability to grasp the way a platform hangs together and which moving parts can provide relevant data
  • a passion for improvement and efficiency
