This role is responsible for 2T Services, Customer Experience and renewals strategy, execution and results for APJC Distribution. You will be a member of the APJC Distribution leadership team.

What You'll Do
  • Evangelize Cisco’s Services & CX vision to our Distributor teams and leverage Distribution reach and scale to drive results with 2T partners in APJC.
  • Be the primary area SME resource for Cisco CX, Customer Success and Recurring Revenue offers.
  • Partner with customer success and renewal sales teams to drive services and recurring revenues growth throughout the Customer Lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Cisco Field and Partner & Distribution sales leaders/teams to build an area Services plan to enable Cisco Services revenue, drive business development activities (demand generation, account alignment, etc.) and ensure proper engagement with targeted channel VARs looking to make or maintain their CE Specialization status.
  • Create, drive and support enablement activities to promote further understanding of our distribution Services & CX value framework.
  • Educate the key, relevant decision makers/influencers at our strategic Distributor/partners on the benefits and financial impact of building a robust Cisco Services practice, inclusive of CX Specialization and Lifecycle Advantage capabilities, with a strong focus on Adoption.
  • Work with Distributors to develop their Cisco Services (New & Renew), CX lifecycle, and enterprise agreement practice by guiding them through the certification processes, maximize Cisco’s partner profitability programs, enabling Distributor sales teams to hunt and identify Cisco Services sales opportunities and provide channel facing sales support.
  • Provide Cisco Services “How To” Expertise to the channel community (internal & external) for Cisco Tools, BOM, Quotes & Ordering. 

Who You’ll Work With
  • You will work for APJC Distribution team along with Services Sales & CX BDM’s and will have responsibility for driving Services revenue and our Land-Adopt-Expand-Renew GTM in the distribution channel.  You will report  to APJC Distribution Leader.
  • You will also collaborate with the following teams: Theatre Channel/ Distribution, APJC Partner Org, Global Partner Sales, Global Distribution Sales, APJC and theatre Architecture BDMs, Services Renewals and Regional/theatre CX teams.

Who You Are
  • 10+ years of channel and/or sales experience in the IT industry, preferably with a knowledge of Cisco Services/Software and Recurring Revenue business models.
  • Strong knowledge or ability to quickly build a background in Cisco’s CX portfolio is a must.
  • Possess Services experience, including a knowledge of different services offers including Advanced & Professional services offers.
  • Able to quickly understand, articulate and evangelize the value of Cisco’s Services and ELA models to partners/Distributors.
  • A team leader and builder, able to rapidly assess and transform, federate and energize a diverse and high-performance team around you to achieve exceptional results in a multi-cultural and diverse environment.
  • A decisive decision maker, able to take rapid calls to drive high-impact outcomes.
  • An excellent communicator: excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, able to digest translate and simplify complex data, brief and to the point, with an ability to effectively influence customers at C-suite level, peers and senior management.
  • Experience in leading a team at regional level.
  • Executive presence and credibility, including having a strong partner financial acumen.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up type sales organization; being a self-starter will be critical to success in this role.
  • Possess strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • A strong aptitude for teamwork, communication and can handle multiple initiatives across multiple geographies.
