"Cisco Network Services is hiring a manager to help the team to deliver infrastructure and networking solutions for Cisco employees and partners.
What you'll do
You’ll manage a team of infrastructure project managers, DevOps focused network engineers, analysts and service managers deploying our best-in-the-world network solutions for Cisco IT. In addition, you’ll play a role as a leader in our transformation to an Agile operational structure using SAFE where you’ll assist your staff or play the role yourself as a Product Manager or Product Owner for either your own staff or a larger service / technology area. Working across your peer and external teams you will coordinate global solutions to operational issues or deployment of new features within your scope. You’ll help drive software-defined mindsets as we transition to managing our configuration-as-code using the software development life cycle as our model. Finally, you’ll demonstrate a sense of ownership and accountability – driving and operating as part of the team but comfortable in taking on responsibility and seeing it through working across the larger Premise organization.
Who you'll work with
The Premise networking team operates all of Cisco’s in-building wired, wireless production networks for employees, extended networks at partner locations and home / remote offerings for employees and partners (like AnyConnect and CVO). We coordinate the installation of network and in-building-infrastructure at Cisco locations as well – for new buildings / expansions, partner locations, acquisitions and divestures as well.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone with experience as a manager, or deep experience with service management and delivery of infrastructure services in a coordinator or leadership role. Direct network skills not absolutely required, but operational familiarity with how enterprises use network services, coordinate with service providers, deploy network infrastructure required. Specific network skills or certifications (CCNA, CCIA, CCNP or experience with Cisco network products) absolutely a bonus. Experience with software development standards and industry trends or SAFE / agile also a bonus.""
