Cisco’s Enterprise Networking & Cloud (EN&C) business is the largest business in the company, comprised of Cisco’s networking businesses, server business, cloud products, IoT, and Meraki businesses. Seeking an analytical and strategic operations manager to join the Enterprise Networking & Cloud (EN&C) team. The leader will be able to combine excellent business acumen with operational rigor to become a key business partner and trusted advisor to the EN&C leadership team.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of technology product and business operations and will also be able to communicate effectively with leadership across multiple functions. Data driven, system savvy, intellectually curious, a fast learner, detail oriented and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects. To sum it up, the candidate is a self-starter who can tactically execute, while critically think through strategic issues. This position offers great opportunities for visibility and impact across the $25B Enterprise Networking & Cloud business.
Establish best in class business project management that partners with stakeholders.
Develop metrics, milestones, structured programs and procedures to ensure successful day-to-day execution
Provide administrative leadership, including facilitation of senior staff meetings and business reviews
Create and manage the organizational calendar of meetings, events and check-points, managing action items and driving to closure
Collaborate across multiple internal business partners including engineering, product, design, finance, legal, compliance and risk to ensure the quality of deliverables
Ensure surgical execution of key projects/initiatives across the various functions. Ensure all parties are well-aligned on key initiatives.
This position requires a self-starter with a well-rounded set of skills, a high level of energy, flexibility, a can-do attitude, and enthusiasm to lead and drive impact with cross-functional teams. The position is people, content, and communications intensive.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
MBA from a top-tier school with post-MBA work experience is a plus
Strong working knowledge & passion for the high-tech industry
Ability to wear many hats while driving multiple initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong presentation skills
Exceptional analytical skills. Proficient with Excel modeling and skilled at translating quantitative data into actionable recommendations
Prior experience in Business Operations at a technology company, Management Consulting and/or Finance is a plus
