What You’ll Do

You will work with our Partner leads to create and accelerate innovative Managed Services solutions that deliver high levels of business value for end customers and drive Cisco’s revenues from consumptive models like Cisco Plus. This role - will help end customer digital ambitions using a range of services anchored in Cisco’s new Managed Services suite.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to effectively define strategy, articulate and communicate business and technology vision, and efficiently inspire change.

The key deliverables of this job include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with UKI leadership, partners and other third parties to implement the strategy to drive Managed Services (MS) sales growth across Cisco UK&I
  • Lead and create sales opportunities - working closely with Cisco Partner teams, specialists, and technical teams to build Cisco based MS platforms & articulate the value that can be delivered.
  • Work with Sales and Finance to create the right commercial solution and with Technical Solution Architects to define the right delivery approach.
  • Educate our Partner teams, business development and sales teams on our Cisco Plus MS Portfolio and how to position and architect our solutions to build customer value and drive revenue growth.
  • Orchestrate supporting teams during architectural design sessions, key customer workshops, implementation project reviews and end-to-end solution shaping.

Who You’ll Work With

You will help to drive growth within our MS business and deliver a tight go-to-market integration between Cisco's As a Service & Cisco Plus offers. Your ability to use and grow key functional group alignment and establish important strategic relationships is critical. You will work closely with Geo-based Sales Leads, Product Line Management, Product Marketing, Competitive Analysis, Technical Marketing, and Channels.

You are a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded sales professional who has a passion for driving business transformation with experience of working with Cisco Partners. Your passion encourages you to be a bold, self-starter with the ability to build executive C Suite relationships, develop and execute sales strategies & partner impact through the ability to see business outcomes from their perspective and context.

Required skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience and understanding of the channel.
  • Hunt new Managed Service opportunities by identifying and engaging with key business and technical partner contacts at the enterprise level.
  • Performer. Highly driven person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations and has the ability, characteristics, and determination to compete effectively against skilled and diverse competition.
  • Own opportunities from qualification to close working with an extensive virtual team across using an extensive portfolio of products and negotiating final proposals.
  • Sales and/or end to end solutioning accountability and track record with led services deal, demonstrating innovation and value creation skills plus evidence of successful cross and upsell motions.
  • Deliver customer business transformation and success through the accelerated adoption and usage resulting in customer references that can be demonstrated in future sales engagements.
  • Exhibits outstanding operational excellence - including monthly/quarterly forecasting, building healthy pipeline, CRM entry and hygiene, opportunity management and virtual team orchestration

Preferred Experience:

  • 8-10 years sales experience (including, SD-WAN, Collaboration, Security, Networking and Managed LAN) you should possess excellent individual sales skills as well as direct/indirect sales leadership and cross-functional experience.
  • Track record marketing and selling emerging technology solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally.
  • Positive relationship management skills in a fluid sophisticated environment are essential.
  • You have experience and knowledge of direct selling and sales through service provider partners and demonstrated ability to conduct business development conversations with all levels.
