Managed Services Partner Systems Engineer  (APJC)

In this role, you will join the region’s partner sales team to define & execute the Managed Services (MS) sales acceleration and support MS Service Creation with our MS partners. You will need to have an understanding of Cisco technologies and MSP GTM motion in order to be effective in this role.

You will work with cross functional groups to develop high growth initiatives that can scale across the region. When a complex problem arises, you can quickly identify the root cause and break down silos to build solutions to move forward. Being curious, thinking big and exploring diverse ideas is a must! 

What You’ll Do

As a team member, you will work closely with the MS Partners in incubating technology offers (cross architecture solutions), work with Global offer team & product team on the technology use cases. Work with Partners & Cisco Sales organization to develop and implement strategies to drive partner solutions. Specifically, the ideal candidate will:
 

·       Work with managed service providers to create Cisco powered services / solutions

·       Identify the insertion points across technology solutions with MSP

·       Work internally with cross functional teams in Cisco and externally with the MS Partner to support Service Creation effort and support Sales Acceleration effort of Managed Services offers.

·       Sales acceleration support would involve, though not limited to: Supporting execution of MS deals together with MS partners

·       Work with field sales team to drive execution and landing of MSP offers.

Who you Are:

·       Strong understanding of Cisco cross architecture technologies including Datacenter, Security , Networking & collaboration

·       Work with Product team and ecosystems vendor in developing innovative & differentiated technology solutions

·       Experience in working customer & partners in running discovery workshop and facilitations

·       Work with different functional units & cross functional team to drive outcomes

·       Experience in working with partners on business model and partner services

·       Design and Develop technology use cases with partners on Cisco technologies and partner services

·       Be a team player who is highly execution focused and strategic to drive Cisco technologies and solutions with partners.

·       Be a collaborator who can create strong relationships and influence others to meet our objectives.

·       Have sales knowledge and contacts with understanding of Cisco field sales.

·       Possess Customer Experience solutions knowledge, including both foundational support services and high value offers.

·       Be a dynamic strategist who understands enablement and programmatic capabilities.

·       Show excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade, using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, inspiring and creative way.

·       Strong executive presence and proven ability to build credibility and relationships with partner and Cisco executives.

·       Be a strategic and creative thinker adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals.

·       Instill a cooperative team-oriented culture and values inclusive diversity of people and perspectives.

Requirements

·       Experience in working with Partners in building Partner solutions & services

·       Understanding of Partner sales motion and business model

·       Experience in working with Digital services and Cloud

·       A Bachelor’s Degree is required MBA is preferred with a minimum of 10+ years’ related experience

·       Broad understanding of Cisco Customer Experience solutions

·       A strong understanding of Managed Services, consumption, and financial modelling

·       Led market initiatives and programs, ideally in business development or sales

·       Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment.

This position can be based anywhere in the Singapore/ Australia  Travel will vary with return to normal business from COVID, expect up to 25% travel long term.
