Logistics Security Project Manager

The Logistics Quality & Security Team is responsible for upholding operational excellence within the Service & Logistics Supply Chain, Forward, Reverse, and Service Logistics.

We drive operational excellence adherence against Cisco's Master Security Specifications by performing global security audits of our supply chain networks, driving remediations while ensuring Cisco's brand protection.

We are looking for an experienced supply chain professional who has a strong background in logistics, supply chain security, auditing, and conflict resolution. As a Logistics Security Project Manager, you will play a meaningful role in understanding security requirements, conducting audits at the Partner sites, driving timely closure on audit findings, and helping keep Cisco's supply chain secure.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive operational excellence adherence through the Master Security Specification (MSS) by performing Security Audits in the EMEA region (Forward, Reverse & Service Logistics, Meraki)
  • Partner with other regional security managers and conduct an annual risk assessment of the supply chain to identify Partner Site risk levels, with quarterly review of risk assessment based on changing business environment
  • Conduct security audits at partner sites, produce audit results, generate and present summary findings & observations, and drive closure of audit findings by working directly with the Logistics Partners and Cisco regional operations teams
  • Lead the investigation of physical and cybersecurity incidents with internal business customers and external partners, generate summary reports, and drive remediation and closure
  • Implement projects, support transformation and run the business, and ensure adherence to Cisco's security requirements (Ex. new site enablement, overflow sites, site relocations, RFPs, CTPAT revalidation)
  • Participate in annual MSS revision, socialize with Partners, and implement new requirements via security audits
  • Evaluate security audit tools, provide requirements (user case needs), support implementation of security tools, and assist in familiarizing the Logistics Partners with the security tools
  • Collaborate and support Corporate Cybersecurity, and SCT Security Teams in further improvement of the Security Program
  • Engage with the Logistics Partners to understand their Security initiatives and propose those that help make Cisco's supply chain more secure

Who You'll Work With:

You will work cross-functionally with Service & Logistics (Forward, Reverse & Service Logistics Operations, Partner Management, and Contract Teams), Meraki, Demo Loan Services, Refresh, Various “X”-Hub (Ghub, Mhub, Shub, etc.) teams, SCT Security Team, Corp Security Team, Corp Risk, and Legal, along with the Logistics Partner base.

  • Confidently presents MSS position despite resistance or unfavorable reactions from others
  • Good Communicator: capable of leading conversations to influence and drive better decisions with multiple Partners often at the Director and VP levels
  • Balances problems or conflicts openly and directly makes decisions to advance desired business outcomes
  • Ability to assess Partner Operational Processes against the MSS
  • Educate Partners on gaps between operational processes and MSS
  • Familiar with TAPA Standards (FSR, TSR, Cyber Security, Parking Security Standards) and other security industry certifications
  • Proven skills with MS 365 Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Works cross-functionally across Cisco teams & Logistics Partner Base

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
