What You’ll Do

Enterprise Switching solutions extend to IT infrastructure that midsize and large organizations administer to provide connectivity among users, devices, and applications. The goal is to support the organizations' objectives by consistently delivering connected digital services reliably and securely to workers, partners, customers, and, increasingly, also things. We are looking for a super strong, seasoned player-coach engineering manager with expertise in delivering networking products and solutions with high quality and to manage a stellar group of world-class engineers. In this role you will work on platform and common components, next generation hardware based on innovative ASICs, high end solutions and features that help our customers deploy networks easily, and partner with larger ecosystem to manage the network from on-prem and cloud.

Required Skills:

  • Have led a team of 4 - 8 engineers, and have 4+ years of software engineering management experience
  • Can provide strong technical vision for your team and ensure consistent delivery on objectives
  • Have experience formulating a team's technical strategy and roadmap; you've collaborated and partnered effectively with several other teams to complete shared goals
  • Have 5+ years hands on experience building and qualifying enterprise networking products, especially those that use distributed system architectures
  • Have experience building products, and have successfully taken significant enhancements and features from inception to testing to production
  • Have worked in waterfall and Agile methodologies, and able to navigate hardware and software dependencies
  • Strong proponent of test and network Automation and should help prioritize it in a Test Driven Development environment
  • Understand how to balance tactical needs with strategic growth and quality-based initiatives that can span multiple quarters
  • Support people in developing talent based on areas of strength and interest.
  • Set clear expectations and goals for individuals and team. Drive team with using OKR with measurable metrics.
  • Be a firm leader, give clear, concrete feedback on a timely basis and hold people/team accountable for success.
  • Recognize people and team for outstanding impact.
