To continue on this trajectory, we’re searching for a highly driven and organized individual to work closely with our Global IoT Sales organization. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and outcome focused personality with a competency to adapt and be agile.

What You’ll Do

Does selling IoT excite you? Are you an experienced sales strategical professional wanting to be part of IoT Global Growth and Digital Sales (GDS) team at the world’s top IoT solution provider?

We’re looking for a Sales Programs BDM to create our go-to-market and digital demand generation sales programs. You will join a newly formed team that is responsible for deriving incremental demand for Cisco’s IoT products and solutions. You will create innovative end-to-end sales packages for our customers, and you will strategize Industrial IoT portfolio value plays. These value plays will include upsell/cross-sell offers and x-architecture offers. You will generate demand and pipeline by strategizing outbound sales tactics and fostering digital journeys via inbound activities (omni-channel plan, web, etc.).

The ideal candidate for this position will have a robust and diversified digital background and proven experience in digital sales. We are looking for a candidate who can lead demand generation programs and will drive early-stage ideas into growth initiatives, ensuring that high-quality programs are delivered on time and on budget. You will be an instrumental individual contributor who would have different responsibilities in sales, business development, and program management. You will also work on a variety of projects and collaborate closely with many individuals within GDS and the broader Cisco IoT team.

  • Strong skills in building and delivering presentations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • BA/BS in relevant field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a strong and sustainable level of partnership at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly collaborative and able to drive diverse teams across the world through influence.
  • Consistent track record in cross-functional collaboration, establishing relationships, and driving successful outcomes on a team.
  • High interest in IoT, its verticals and customer segments
  • Business acumen and functional process knowledge - Ability to understand and articulate Go-To-Market and Operational, Sales, Service and Channel strategies, as well as employee transition strategies and execution.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience selling IoT hardware or software platforms
  • Experience selling to IoT Verticals
  • You have experience in selling industrial networking, wireless, industrial security, cloud, analytics, and other relevant IOT use cases
  • Sales experience (preferably at Cisco or one of our partners or competitors)
  • Experience working in multi-cultural environments
  • Masters degree in a relevant field
