What you'll do:
You'll help us transform and drive Cisco’s long term growth strategy as a member of the Corporate Development Integration (CDI) team working on strategic programs. These programs may run the gamut from acquisitions and partnerships to divestitures and joint ventures. You'll drive operational decisions which affect deadlines, overall business operations and the Corporate Development's broader success.
Our existing team brings deep expertise and unique experiences in M&A integration practice, and leverages our world class processes. This new role provides a great opportunity for the right individual to join and support the existing team while 'learning the ropes' within CDI and positioning to be a future leader in the space.
Who you'll work with:
CDI has played an aggressive role in Cisco’s growth through more than 200 acquisitions and other transactions to date, and is responsible for translatiung business M&A objectives into project goals, plans and actions. We conduct deliver on the operationalization of each transaction -- inclusive of people, processes, systems, and infrastructure. We work across all Cisco functions and across technology areas. The existing CDI team that you would join is an experienced group that work closely together, thrive on the dynamic nature of the work and are passionate about helping acquired businesses succeed as part of Cisco.
Who You Are:
You have Cisco experience, are a 'high-po' employee recognized for your communication skills and ability to drive significant projects, and enjoy learning about and contributing to the latest technology/product innovations and evolution of Cisco's business models... You're comfortable in a dynamic environment, in leading matrixed teams and interfacing with/advising senior leaders.
A successful Integration Program Manager must demonstrate leadership skills, knowledge of Cisco, superior program management skills, executive presence and masterful communication - along with a good dose of patience, humor and humility. The right Cisco-experienced candidate will need to be conversant in data analytics and technology and will need to be comfortable with not knowing all the answers, but will be confident in being able to drive - with stakeholder groups - to the best possible solutions to enable new businesses in Cisco. Being able to influence, to prioritize, and to lead independently on most issues and escalations is a must.
Minimum requirements for this role:
- 5 years at Cisco. Roles in multiple functions preferred
- 12 years work experience, preferably in high tech, preferably across a myriad of functions
- High motivation and desire to excel and attention to quality
- Intellectual curiosity and energy
- Skilled proficiency in the domain of data analytics and technology tools, systems, ML/AI
- Exceptional sense of follow-through and commitment/ownership
- MBA prefered
