Are you interested in working at the heart of Cisco’s transformation to recurring revenue and lifecycle selling? The newly formed Global Services and Software Sales (GSSS) team is building the bridge to Cisco’s future. Services is a $14B+ business for Cisco and is critical to providing customer value and delivering business outcomes. As customers adapt to the new norm and embark on their digital transformation, they are looking for companies who can help them move faster. Our team is looking for leaders who are excited by the opportunities in the big picture and can hit the ground running. You set the pace and bring those around you along on the journey to advocate for the field, engage and partner with CX, and help define the GTM strategy.
In this role, you will join the Incubation Sales & CX Interlock team as a Services Sales Specialist. You will be part of a global team of Incubation Services Sellers who are the first to bring new CX Services offers to market. You will be tightly connected with the CXPM offer team and Sales on growing Success Track and accelerating the evolution of our services portfolio. We are in the midst of a major portfolio and sales motion evolution. This role is crucial to representing the field’s needs first with the Specialists and then more broadly to the generalist population. We are looking for someone who can influence and drive growth, who is skilled in consultative selling, and can clearly communicate needs across our many stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role is passionate about being tip of the spear with the new CX offers, is comfortable leading through ambiguity and change, and wants to drive crucial change across Cisco's Services business.
Excited about the opportunity?
Tell us about you! We are especially interested in hearing about your skills building relationships with customers and partners; how you communicate, liaise, and negotiate with cross-functional teams; and your understanding of sales trends, market drivers, and key customer issues. We want to hear stories about how you have built influential relationships, your strategies to drive customer focus and deliver value, and how you approach problem, issues, and opportunities.
Basic requirements include:

· Experience with Cisco’s Services sales motions (support services and advanced services)
· Led market initiatives and programs, ideally business development or sales
· Experience with bringing and selling new offers to market, including offer incubation
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment
We Are Cisco
#WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference powering an inclusive future for all.
We embrace digital, and help our customers implement change in their digital businesses. Some may think we’re “old” (37 years strong) and only about hardware, but we’re also a software company. And a security company. We even invented an intuitive network that adapts, predicts, learns and protects. No other company can do what we do – you can’t put us in a box!
But “Digital Transformation” is an empty buzz phrase without a culture that allows for innovation, creativity, and yes, even failure (if you learn from it.)
Day to day, we focus on the give and take. We give our best, give our egos a break, and give of ourselves (because giving back is built into our DNA.) We take accountability, bold steps, and take difference to heart. Because without diversity of thought and a dedication to equality for all, there is no moving forward.
So, you have colorful hair? Don’t care. Tattoos? Show off your ink. Like polka dots? That’s cool. Pop culture geek? Many of us are. Passion for technology and world changing? Be you, with us!
