What You'll Do

You will be part of a team that partners with a matrix IT organization to deliver exceptional results. In this role you will be an IT Business Analyst involved with the Business Integration Enablement (BIE) track. You will lead the early discovery discussions with the system owners from the acquired companies and help to analyze scope of the business tools they use as well as to help in the mapping of the tools and applications to Cisco’s business applications. You will also work closely with the architects in mapping the system landscape to lead to the sun-setting of applications as they become part of the enterprise system flow.

You will typically work with a cross-functional team made up of members from:

  • Acquired company’s IT team
  • Cisco team members
  • Functional IT (Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, Product Ops, Sales) teams
  • Corporate Development teams
  • System support teams both at Cisco as well as Acquired companies

Who You Are

  • You are an IT Analyst with strong background in Cisco's Commerce and Services applications.
  • Hands-on knowledge of the Offer Enablement lifecycle applications and in-depth knowledge of the backend processes. Good communications skills. Capable of handling design discussions with team members from Acquired IT/business teams as well as collaborating closely with the Cisco Internal IT/Business teams to enable speedy transition.
  • Experience with oracle applications as well as tools to enable in-depth data analysis (Oracle Sql, Smartsheets/Excel, Sql Navigator, TOAD, Tableau etc) would be preferred.
  • Should have handled multiple releases with Cisco commerce project teams and also knowledgable with SAFE and Agile development practices.
  • Familiar with Requirements tracking, backlog grooming, requirements prioritization processes across multiple IT/Business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the Corporate Development acquisition processes and workstreams will be required.
  • Must have 5-10 year’s IT experience with BS degree. MS in Computer Science or Information Science is plus
