Job Description
We are looking for Hardware Engineer Intern to join Enterprise Switching HW team in Cisco CRDC (China R&D Center), Shanghai. You will have the opportunity to work with the talents in Cisco engineering to develop the Enterprise Switching Hardware with cutting edge technology and methodologies.

Catalyst 9000 family of switches has been designed as the foundation for an entirely new era of networking to meet the ever- changing needs of the enterprise network, today and well into the future. Our HW team focus on one of enterprise switching HW platform.

- Participate in the real hardware development process, the job may include one or some of the listed items: HW spec, schematic design, Logical design, SI measurement, HW function verification test, test environment setup and test script developing etc.
- Co-Work with ECAD, Mech, SI, Power, diagnostics and SW closely for the development
- Assist in HW Lab test facility set-up and maintenance。

- Solid technical knowledge on digital/analog circuit design, familiar with the basic board development tools and process
- Familiar with Xilinx or Altera logic devices and the relevant logical design tools/process
- Fundamental Signal integrity knowledge and understand the high-speed digital design
- Familiar with script coding is a plus.
- Proactive and willing to take challenges.
- Teamwork and strong communication skills are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Working Time Requirements:
- At least 3 working days (from Monday to Friday) per week
- 9:00am-18:00pm per day

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
