Your Impact: 

 

As a full stack developer/software engineer you will play a strategic role in developing AI-powered experiences that transform the post-purchase digital experiences for Cisco’s customers, partners and employees. You will be responsible for building end-to-end applications using but not limited to frameworks like Angular, jQuery, NodeJS etc. You will contribute development of solutions that harness the power of artificial intelligence, data automation, and marketing automation technologies to create personalized, scalable, and seamless experiences across Cisco product adoption, renewals, and growth. 

 

We are seeking an individual who is interested in exploring and building innovative integrations across our techstack inclusive of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Cloud, Snowflake and other applications. Interest and ability to learn both front end and backend code written in python. You will also collaborate with other developers and program managers to deliver requested features, bug fixes, and enhancements with quality. You are self-motivated, results driven, and collaborative! 

 

  • Provide support for development of a coordinated Customer Experience data foundation as well as UI applications that will enable extensive business intelligence for the users around adoption, renewals and contact data sets. 

  • Work with CX and marketing business, and IT teams to ensure high quality, on-time work that meet usability, scalability, quality and performance standards 

  • Provide technical development, research and quality assurance testing 

  • Apply a variety of big data technologies to ingest, transform, index, aggregate, correlate, provide API's, visualize and enable a spectrum of organizations across Cisco. 

  • Analyze structural requirements for data storage solutions and software 

  • Design architectures for technical systems as to ensure adaptability, scalability, and completeness 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  •  Bachelor’s in computer science, computer engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience working in a technology company, with specific experience in building web applications, platform integrations and data automation across multiple audiences (customers, partners, employees)
  • Skilled in Architecting and implementing efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive sophisticated web applications using Angular, NodeJS, jQuery and microservices frameworks like Flask/Django
  • Experience in HTML/CSS including concepts like layout, specificity, cross device, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
  • Experience with APIs integration and optimizing front end performance Experience in UX design methodologies and processes.
  • Experience working on and along with as-a-service offerings such as GCP or AWS
  • Experience in database technologies like Oracle, Snowflake
  • Experience with infrastructure automation Jenkins, Ansible, Git or other relevant technologies
  • AEM Expertise: 2+ years of hands‑on experience Adobe Experience Manager, including HTL, Core Components, template development, dialogs/policies, client library strategy, and authoring workflows. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building automation scripts and tools.
  • Experience in the field of RESTful API’s, microservices, distributed architecture.
  • Solid experience in writing sophisticated SQL Scripts 
  • Design and Component Systems: Strong understanding of designing and building modular component systems utilizing framework‑agnostic web components.
  • Mono-repository & Tooling: Experience working in an Nx-managed (or similar) mono-repository comprised of TypeScript, ES Modules, Sass/CSS, Vite, Vitest, ESLint/Stylelint; have familiarity with Docker as well as Node/npm
  • Experience with integration tools such as Mulesoft
  • A solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment/ Scrum practices

For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings.

Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco’s flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco’s Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter.  Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
