What You'll Do

Digital Experiences is looking for a Front-end developer to join the engineering team, focused on building out our new design system as well as creating engaging experiences across You will work in a lean agile workflow, helping to build new features and refine existing functionality. You will have the opportunity to build, maintain, and expand upon the newest iteration of our design system and component library as well as explore new, creative ideas for future iterations. 

  • Create reusable UI components using a combination of web component architecture, standard HTML/CSS/JS, and HTL templates for use in AEM 
  • Be an advocate for great UX, performance, and accessibility 
  • Iterate quickly based on stakeholder and customer feedback 

Who You'll Work With

Within the digital engineering team, you will work collaboratively with UX and design to implement best-in-class UI components. You will also work with backend developers to implement HTL component templates for use in Adobe Experience Manager. As part of the larger Digital Experiences team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with a diverse group of technical enthusiasts.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years professional experience as a Front-end developer 
  • Can translate designs and wireframes into high quality code 
  • Expertise creating and maintaining a design system architecture using Lerna, Storybook and other tools & techniques 
  • Understanding of modern CSS features like flex and grid, and how to use them in responsive web design 
  • Experience with developing accessible code in compliance with WCAG 2.1 HTML, leveraging semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and other techniques 
  • Familiarity with testing best practices and tools such as unit tests & integration 
  • Understanding of modern JavaScript features, including familiarity with TypeScript 
  • Experience building modular, reusable, flexible, and accessible components 
  • Working knowledge of design tools: Figma, Sketch, Axure or similar 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
