What You'll Do

People, Policy & Purpose is looking for a proven leader of  front end development and design, focused on webpages, sharepoint communities, and applications in support of People, Policy & Purpose's programs. You will work along side a creative team of designers, developers, and videographers.

You will be responsible for leading a small team of front and backend web developers and designers.

  • Understand and uplift Cisco brand and UI standards
  • Be an advocate for phenomenal UX and accessibility
  • Integrate with third-party tools while maintaining a consistent look and feel across the site
  • Iterate quickly based on partner and customer feedback

Who You'll Work With

You will work collaboratively with all of People, Policy & Purpose, taking in requirements from stakeholders, collaborating on user flow with UX designers, creating assets with designers, and implemently outstanding UX. You will also work with backend developers when necessary to define specific server-side application logic and integration work.

OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • BS Degree with 10+ years as a Front-end web developer
  • Strong project management and team management skills
  • Proven experience crafting designs and wireframes 
  • Deep expertise in UX development
  • Understanding of modern CSS features like flex and grid, and how to use them in responsive web design
  • Understanding of modern JavaScript features
  • Experience building modular, reusable, flexible, and accessible components in a modern front end framework like React or Vue
  • Responsive Web Design 
  • Working knowledge of design tools: XD, InVisions, Figma, Sketch, Axure or similar
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
