What You'll Do


Cisco's Emerging Talent Recruiting (ETR) Team's mission is to provide internship, apprenticeship, co-op, and fulltime opportunities to students from all education paths - bachelors, masters, and PhD graduates; community college and other technical school graduates; and graduates of any other program for learning the skills needed for our positions. In this hybrid ETR Recruiting Lead and Channel Manager role, you will build and implement recruiting programs attracting a diverse pool of candidates to support our university and emerging talent hiring for the Engineering Organization in Mexico hiring a variety of talent but focused on Technical Consulting Engineers. The programs you lead will support our partnerships and recruiting efforts at universities, conferences, and other emerging talent channels.


As a Recruiting Lead, you'll partner with business leaders to recruit and hire from all educational paths. You'll provide ETR project management support, acting as a liaison for ETR, CXSales Business Points of Contact (PoC)/Hiring Managers. Act as a subject matter authority on benefits, market trends, competitive information, and standard methodologies.


Who You'll Work With


This is a dynamic role that will affect the hiring of technical and non-technical roles for multiple business groups within the Customer Experience function. You will engage directly with business leaders and hiring managers and work with US-based ETR Leads and team members (Recruiters, Coordinators, Channel Managers, Sourcers). You will also engage with partners in the Americas (Compensation, Offer Compliance, Scheduling & Onboarding).

Our Minimum Qualifications for This Role


  • Fluent in Spanish & English
  • 6+ years of proven ability, with 2+ years university recruiting
  • Corporate recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience in working and engaging with universities
  • Shown passion for diversity and inclusion
  • Experience in Project and Program Management
  • Demonstrable experience in business partnership, partner management and cross functional teaming
  • Experience using digital sourcing tools, applicant tracking system or CRM experience to improve work process and outcomes
  • Strong communication/social skills and ability to influence partners to drive them towards set hiring goals
  • Must be a creative problem solver and self-starter with the ability to come up with new solutions to old problems
  • Ability to deliver a high level of work output in a dynamic, fast paced environment
