As a part of Unified Communication Technology Group which provides total solution for the collaboration and communication infrastructure and solution, UCTG endpoints CRDC team has been focusing on the development of IP phones endpoints, which covers all the development activities locally. 

What You''ll Do

In this highly visible role as a Cisco IP Phone endpoints software engineer, you will:

● Deliver high quality Cisco IP Phone products.

● Solve challenging problems from different area of software developing.

● Collaborate with local and oversea teams and architects.

● Lead collaboration feature design and implementation

● Drive Cloud based Cisco collaboration solutions.

Who You Are

Must have skill/experiences

1+ year Experience on VOIP, SIP protocol, 3+ years as a software engineer working on embedded products

Very Strong C programming experience and debugging skills, familiar with Java and OOP

Very good operation system knowledge of Linux, shell and configuration

Good understanding of TCP/IP stack, Linux application or driver development experience

Fluent English speaking and writing, excellent communication skills

Extremely motivated to meet deadlines and to exceed expectation 

Good to have skill/experiences

Slic driver, FXS FXO experience, hands-on knowledge of DSP Audio process

Device driver and register level programming

Working knowledge of version control system, at least one of SVN/Clearcase/Git

Experience in signal processing (in particular acoustic processing)

Experience with large-scale team-based software development, agile(scrum) software process

Router/switch data forwarding background (L2, L3) desired.

Educational Background

BS and above required, EE/CS/Automation Control
