Global Partner Marketing

What You'll Do

Join the industry leading Partner Marketing organization as a Global Distribution Marketing Manager focusing on the SMB segment. You will be responsible for the to-Distributor and through-Distribution efforts driving SMB activations. You will contribute to the strategic vision and direction for how marketing supports, enables and drives SMB demand for the Global Distribution Sales organization.

Responsibilities for this role include

  • Focusing on the SMB segment, build co-branded marketing plans for Cisco to Distributor, and Distributor to Partner
  • Develop targeting strategies using data and insights to identify the right Distributors, partners and customers to drive growth in the SMB segment
  • Consistently measure and communicate the impact of marketing investments
  • Align to global solution launches and lead with SMB Distribution value proposition messaging and curate associated campaigns
  • Implement data-driven marketing and partner enablement strategies that result in profitable growth for Cisco and our Partner Organization

The Distribution Marketing team plays a leadership role in crafting perception of Cisco as the de facto standard for innovation, relevance, and trust.

Who You Are

A planner, upbeat, self-starter with creative flair looking to make a significant impact on business success. Experience in planning and delivering communication plans, marketing campaigns or programs with exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal, along with strong administration and organizational capabilities. Deliver content in alignment with business priorities across sales and marketing and across multiple channels including social.

  • 5+ years of IT Marketing experience or Channel Sales experience (Distribution is ideal)
  • 2+ years working in SMB marketing (preferred)
  • Previous experience with project and/or program management required.
  • Extraordinary interpersonal and communications skills, across the globe and adaptable with various time zones
  • Experience with an analytics-based approach to Marketing and Go-To-Market strategy.
  • Strong digital marketing skills with knowledge of Marketing Automation platforms.
  • History of working in a team environment.

You will work in partnership with our Global Distribution Sales organization. Cisco's Distribution channel continues to be one of the largest and the SMB segment is the fastest-growing route-to-market for Cisco as a growth engine for the entire company. In partnership with our distributors and partners, we deliver customer outcomes that accelerate business growth and positions Cisco for success in the face of rapidly changing market dynamics. 


As a core group within the Global Partner Marketing organization, we work with our peers across the globe and with our partner and product business teams. Critical to the role, you will ensure our Distribution Sales priorities are translated into marketing plans and activities that make our partners and distributors choose and prefer Cisco as their key partner over the competition.
