We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our fast-paced, culture-first product marketing team, someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, embraces change, and is passionate about driving impactful campaigns in the ever-evolving technology landscape.


Who you’ll work with:


You will lead a team of dedicated marketers to develop the strategy and lead execution of marketing efforts for AI, compute and switching, across Cisco’s data center portfolio. You will be responsible for driving overall market awareness, win attention, and support product adoption. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, revenue marketing, and sales, to define go-to-market strategies, manage product launches, and develop compelling messaging for data center solutions. You will need to navigate and prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives and become comfortable with leading through ambiguity and shifting priorities. This high visibility role will reward the right leader with invaluable chances to define a meaningful impact with the Strategy, Growth, and Product Marketing group, and Cisco at large.

What you'll do:


The ideal candidate will have deep experience in product marketing, team leadership, and a strong understanding of the data center infrastructure ecosystem.


  • Lead and mentor a team of dedicated marketing professionals, developing and executing the strategy for marketing initiatives
  • Own the product marketing function, being responsible for go-to-market plans, competitive positioning, and value proposition development for artificial intelligence compute and switching solutions and product lines.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive awareness, demand, and adoption of data center compute and switching products and solutions.
  • Identify key segments and customer demographics to address and gain focus, drive decision making, to directly impact the business
  • Implement product and solution launches, ensuring cross-functional alignment, timely go-to-market execution, and maximum impact of new compute and switching offerings.
  • Ensure consistency and continuity of messaging and positioning across the data center portfolio
  • Collaborate across Cisco with the product development teams and sales organization to coordinate the planning to define and lead the go-to-market strategy for the compute and switching portfolio, including market segmentation, customer targeting, channel alignment, and campaign execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with executive leadership, product teams, sales, customer success, and revenue marketing to align business objectives and drive product adoption and growth.
  • Position Cisco as a leader with vision in the data center space by developing content, speaking at industry events, and creating visibility through external channels (media, blogs, analyst reports, awards, etc.)
  • Equip the central marketing team with the required resources to effectively enable sales with the value of the products and solutions.

  • You are a strong communicator, present with confidence and have the ability to influence partners at all levels of the organization.
  • Your prior roles were in a fast-paced environment leading product marketing managers of teams.
  • Analytical with a creative mind, able to juggle many projects, manage expectations across multiple partners and process driven to address strategic challenges.
  • Fast learner, able to understand new technologies and process changes and can synthesize strategic inputs from multiple diverse sources, including product and sales teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable to shift strategies and tactics when required while being detail oriented, well organized, efficient with time management.
  • You enjoy leading people and love to roll up your sleeves to get stuff done!

Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree or 10+ years as a product marketing leader with a focus on sales enablement, developing and executing demand generation, content marketing, and digital marketing strategies or related experience.
  • Demonstrable product marketing leadership experience in enterprise applications, software, infrastructure and compute platforms.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Understanding of and experience in leading product marketing for AI, compute, data center and storage solutions or adjacent infrastructure and networking domains.
  • Masters Degree and an equivalent experience of 5+ years of product marketing leadership experience in prominent tech companies.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
