What You'll Do
In this vital managerial role, the Director Operations Sales is primarily responsible for managing, overseeing, and directing the Service Provider Customers for Central America and the Caribbean. He governs the end to end projects and operations from pre-sales to delivery for Service Providers clients. He manages and drives profitable growth. He defines strategies and maintains customer relationships. He manages and allocates the Unit budget. He establishes targets and strategic directions. He oversees strategic key deals, sales incentive targets, budget definitions, and individual performance management targets. The Director Operations Sales is responsible for managing and directing business opportunities. He is fully responsible for the business within Central America and the Caribbean.
Specifically, Director Operations Sales performs the following managerial duties:
Manage and direct project executive steering.
Govern and manage profit and loss for the organization.
Define and manage sales and delivery strategic directions.
Lead and direct meetings with external executives.
Manage and oversee internal stakeholders.
Oversee the resolution of issues.
Manage and oversee project resources.
The Director Operations Sales is responsible for managing, directing, and overseeing a team of supervisory and professional employees.
As such, it is clear that Director Operations Sales exercises a high level of discretionary and managerial authority in discharging his duties.
Director Operations Sales has the authority to assign and delegate work assignments among his team members. He determines weekly and monthly targets. He oversees and manages the interviewing and screening process. He is responsible for hiring and firing decisions. He finalizes performance reviews for team members. He is responsible for talent management including promotions, salary reviews, and bonuses.
Who You'll Work With
Director Operations Sales works independently and exercises discretion over how he conducts day-to-day operations of this business. He manages this function on a senior level, having discretionary authority to make managerial decisions and has discretion over his day-to-day duties, and the day-to-day duties of the subordinate professionals. He sets up and delegates work streams. He exercises wide latitude in formulating and executing strategies to grow the business and generate the expected revenue.

We need an individual who provides leadership to business managers and account managers and functional leaders. He/she is accountable for the performance and results of teams across multiple countries and aligned with Partners investment and main Service Provider accounts. Responsible for business partnership and collaborating on cross-functional objectives with upstream/downstream organization functions.
Critical Skills / Experience:
BA/BS or equivalent.
Spanish and English fluent
- The role holder will need to demonstrate: - 15 years related experience in technologies, solutions, and applications.
5-10 years senior management, 8+ years of executive experience selling solutions, in-depth understanding of networking and software technologies, previous sales experience, revenue responsibility.
