What You’ll do

Leading our small License Team is core to Cisco’s vision and strategy of enabling best in class licensing experiences, processes and capabilities. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for helping the company deliver on its licensing strategy and updating its processes to deliver a compelling licensing experience. Think outside of the box to lead us into future licensing strategies. 

    

Who You’ll Work With

Be part of the Cisco’s key licensing transformational priorities and programs. The role requires extensive cross-functional understanding of operational objectives. You will also establish and communicate new programs and drive the programs to scale. This team will interlock closely with Cisco’s Business Units and CX Support teams. You will execute in an extremely agile environment where business, engineering, Informational technology leaders and supporting functions engage for detailed problem-solving activities

Who You Are

You are a Licensing expert and a proven leader able to influence our business, engineering and IT stakeholders with effective communication skills. You have a strong ability to quickly adapt, make decisions and take corrective actions when appropriate. You have an eye for detail while still being able to see the bigger picture. You have quite extensive knowledge, experience and track record of delivering results. The License team is key to our Recurring Revenue and Incremental revenues.

Act as a trusted advisor to the business and/or transformational program leaders from vision, strategy to execution. Entrepreneurial sprit with previous experience leading licensing functions. The ideal candidate will have analytic horsepower, logical reasoning ability an understanding of Cisco products and solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Licensing Expert methodology, SaaS, Recurring Revenue, and related business processes *not compliance based 
  • 8-10 years meaningful experience
  • Deep grasp of Smart accounts and Smart licensing.
  • Ability to provide encouraged leadership
  • Hands-on, can-do attitude and a highly collaborative style.
  • Calm and self-motivated with a strong focus on delivery under tight timelines.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams & work with resources, in a ‘virtual’ style, that are not under direct control will determine success in the role.
  • Ability to write PRD's
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate resource budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.
  • Communicate customer issues with key stakeholders and devise ways of improving the customer experience
  • Track, measure and communicate customer disputes to leadership and cross functional
  • Be available for partner and customer calls to discuss escalation and/or consumption report in detail.
  • Responsible for addressing project/program escalations.
  • Create status reports and readouts for senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
