Cisco’s Enterprise Networking & Cloud (EN&C) business is the largest business in the company, comprised of Cisco’s networking businesses, server business, cloud products, IoT, and Meraki businesses. Seeking an analytical and strategic operations leader to join the Enterprise Networking & Cloud (EN&C) team. The leader will be able to combine excellent business acumen with operational rigor to become a key business partner and trusted advisor to the EN&C executive leadership team.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of technology products and business operations and will also be able to communicate effectively with leadership and senior executives across multiple functions. Data driven, system savvy, intellectually curious, a fast learner, detail oriented and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects with limited direction and supervision. To sum it up, the leader is a self-starter who can tactically execute, while critically think through strategic issues. Reporting into VP, EN&C Business Operations, this position offers great opportunities for visibility and impact across the Enterprise Networking & Cloud business.
o Ability to thinking strategically and operationally - define strategic outcomes, analytical approach, success metrics, operational path, ability to influence stakeholders to drive results
o Drive Corporate Planning Business Operations processes e.g., Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Long Range Planning, Portfolio analysis, Roadmap reviews etc. Establish well thought through Operational process to drive strategic outcomes.
o Comfortable with jumping into undefined programs and bring structure and results. Analytical modeling ability for special projects.
o Develop metrics, milestones, structured programs and procedures to ensure successful day-to-day execution
o Drive operational initiatives across functions (Sales, HR, Finance, Product, Marketing, Customer Success etc.)
o Provide administrative leadership, including facilitation of senior staff meetings and business reviews
o Create and manage the organizational calendar, events and check-points, managing action items and driving to closure
o Collaborate across multiple internal business partners including engineering, product, design, finance, legal, compliance and risk to ensure the quality of deliverables
o Ensure surgical execution of key projects/initiatives across the various functions. Ensure all parties are well-aligned on key initiatives.
o 10+ years of relevant experience, including Consulting, Operations, Product management, or Strategy roles
o Works effectively in complex and matrixed organizations
o Able to see the big picture while also being hands-on and in the details
o Always focused on doing what's right for the business
o Willing to take on the tough projects and challenges to support growth of the business
o Ability to be highly productive with minimal oversight from senior management
o Takes responsibility and accountability for actions and outcomes
o Possesses business acumen, strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
o Strong listening skills and an ability to speak in front of senior audiences as well as write clearly, concisely, and compellingly
o Demonstrated ability to solve problems and provide practical business insights from complex data sets
o Education: Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or Graduate degree preferred
