What You'll Do

In your role as Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and integrate products that are deployed by some of the leading Enterprises in the world. You will work on networking equipment that forms a crucial backbone of many offices, hospitals, educational and financial institutions. You will learn about cutting-edge technologies and platforms while developing software for these equipment. Besides this, you will also mentor your junior colleagues in their day-to-day activities.
Who you’ll Work With
As an integral member of this team, you will work with a team of seasoned engineers. You will have the opportunity to architect, design, and develop some of the world’s most widely deployed Enterprise Switches that are continuously evolving towards enabling the support of newer and exciting customer business paradigms.
You will be interacting and working closely with some of the finest talent pool in the industry – where you will find that work is both fun and challenging.
Who You Are
Excellent quality is what drives you. To ensure this, you have a thorough understanding of distributed/centralized hardware architectures of routers/switches. Your concepts are strong and you have a good knowledge of L2, L3, and MPLS protocols and forwarding infrastructure. You possess the necessary skills to work in a highly collaborative, inclusive, and agile atmosphere in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• 5 to 11 years with Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/EC or technical equivalent.
• Ability to write good software in C.
• Experience with real-time O/S (VxWorks, pSOS or Cisco IOS, Linux, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux development tools, with knowledge of Linux virtualization.
• Experience in network processor programming, POSIX thread programming.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, multicast protocols, network synchronization, segment routing, SDN, manageability (telemetry, gRPC, Netconf/Yang, etc.)
