The Team

Cisco's Global Enterprise Theater Data Center Architecture team is leading and driving business outcomes directly solving business challenges. By articulating and demonstrating Cisco's ground breaking solutions and services, we are able to make an impact in the way our customers use next-generation Data Centers through Cloud, software, led services, and compute, network and storage solutions

Our Global Enterprise Theater (GET) is seeking a Data Center Solution Specialist. In this position, you will be facilitating the success of Cisco sales teams in selling specific products, services, solutions and technologies related to your area of expertise, with measurable sales objectives for the Global Enterprise customers you support. You will find opportunities, able to handle people and prioritize opportunities, highly capable as a trusted consultant and mentor to direct Account teams, and committed to improving the competency of the team. This is a great opportunity to apply your technical expertise, sales acumen and leadership skills in a role that has high visibility and impact.

Role & Responsibilities

o   Develop and execute Global Enterprise transformational strategies.

o   Understand market competition; position Cisco's Data Center solutions to the appropriate customer contacts and line of business leaders.

o   Drive absorption of Cisco''s Data Center Architectural strategy.

o   Understand, track and develop sales strategies based on these architectural plays.

Minimum Qualifications

o   Minimum 8 years of professional technical selling experience.

o   5+ years selling data center technical selling experience.

o   1 year of international customer project experience preferred

o   Experience Presenting to customers and high level executives required

o   Ability to articulate differentiation of data center solutions to a business audience required.

o   Strategic planning and market/business development experience required

o   Ability to travel as needed
