Customer Quality Success team in Cisco Supply Chain values four key principles – customer focus, being data driven, having an objective view, and strive to be proactive.  As a customer quality engineer, your key function will be enabling the execution of the Customer Quality strategy in your region and being a trusted partner for our stakeholders in Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, Sales and Customer Experience teams.

 

 

Job Description

 

 

o   Understand Cisco product portfolio and be a subject matter expert on Cisco Quality processes

o   Be the point of contact for Customer Experience, Technical Assistance Centers and Sales teams in the region for all quality support

o   Lead resolution of customer quality issues, reactively and proactively by coordinating with Product Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Customer Experience and Sales teams 

o   Identify initiatives related to customer quality improvements. Lead projects to implement these improvements across stakeholders and business partners.

o   Lead data-driven business reviews and bring insights into actions.

o   Monitor customer satisfaction and product field quality.  Perform data analysis to detect trends and take appropriate action.

o   Be people focused, working closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to support Customer Quality vision and strategy

o   Provide sound and data-driven business insights, collaborating with individual contributors and up to senior leadership. 

o   Customer Quality Metrics stewardship, statistical data analysis, identify and drive Close Loop Corrective Actions

 


Minimum Requirements:

 

o   7+ years' demonstrated ability and proven success in operations, customer relations and implementing technical solutions

o   Desired Degree: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS/etc) 
Desired Major: Industrial Engineering

o   Knowledge of basic Internet Technology concepts (preferred CCENT/CCNA certified)

o   Six-Sigma Green or Black belt certification is an important asset.

o   Fluency in Japanese and English

o   Direct experience in driving initiatives effectively in a complex organizational environment

o   Strong Communication, working with multiple stakeholders

o   Ability to work and collaborate effectively with local and remote teams globally

o   Detail oriented and data driven 

o   Comfortable with data, process flows, and systems thinking

o   Deep understanding of operations and methodologies, process management and formulation of policies, programs, plans and systems to meet commitments.

 

o   Self-driven, independent thinker
