  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and efficiently use tools to meet organizational goals.

  • Serve as an individual contributor on technical engagements.

  • Create and review design documentation (e.g., High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation Plans).

  • Take ownership of project deliverables and resolve complex compatibility issues using lab environments.

  • Contribute to the development of digital intellectual capital (scripts, tools, automation artifacts).

  • Act as a focal point for problem resolution and ensure timely closure of customer issues.

Decision Making / Impact:

  • Impact quality and effectiveness of project delivery for both individual and cross-functional teams.

  • Understand project scope and effectively align technical solutions with customer business goals.

Who You’ll Work With:

You’ll join Cisco's Customer Experience (CX) organization, a high-performing team of technical experts focused on delivering world-class customer outcomes. We collaborate across functions and with partners to solve complex challenges and accelerate business success.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Strong experience in wireless networking and RF design for large enterprise environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco wireless products including Wi-Fi 6 access points, Catalyst 9800 controllers, DNAC, ISE, DNA Spaces, and Meraki solutions.

  • Skilled in resolving WLAN issues, wireless fabric, and Software-Defined Access (SDA).

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python), Netconf/APIs, and virtual environments (VM/container fundamentals).

  • Solid understanding of switching, routing, and enterprise network architectures.

  • Experience in presales engagements, project scoping, and leading customer accounts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-density environments and IoT deployment scenarios.

  • Ability to lead migration and optimization projects across multi-site enterprise networks.

  • Experience working as the single point of contact (SPOC) for consulting engagements.

  • Prior involvement in strategic initiatives and mentoring junior engineers.

Leadership & Autonomy:

  • Operates with limited supervision and independently resolves challenges.

  • Provides mentorship and guidance to other engineers.

  • Leads initiatives and contributes to global strategies and innovation efforts.

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
