We are looking for an engineer with strong Cable Technology knowledge but also with good communications skills. This position requires analytical thinking and constant study and preparation; The Network Consultant must be able to be the cisco’s face in front of our customers, he/she must learn and understand fast the customer networks and the cisco’s tools to help the cisco’s customers to achieve their goals.
The main documents that the NC will produce to our customer are the following:
HLD / LLD / CIQ / configs / Test Plans / FOA testing/POC’s/QBR’s
You will establish and maintain close relationships with your internal Cisco peers, (Fellow NCEs, Development Engineers, Product Engineers SDMs, PMs), and most importantly the Customer in an ongoing basis, as well as their Leadership team.
Here are some technical responsibilities of the role
4+years’ experience in at least 5 (three) of the following Mobility-focused technologies: SMF / UPF / AMF / MME, SAEGW, SPGW, ePDG, SaMOG, 3GPP standards, LTE / GSM / CDMA
Knowledge of Data Center, 5G / CUPS/ Microservices is a plus
· Professional level required, Expert desired
· IOS XE and StarOS experience
· English Advanced
· Programming skills (Python, C++) Desired
· Linux, Shell Scripting
· Virtualization Skills
· DevNet (Desired)
· Other vendor knowledge: Nokia, Ericsson
