As the Client Leader, you will be expected to strategically handle and grow Cisco’s strategic partnership with Kaiser Permanente, one of the largest nonprofit healthcare plans in the United States, with over 12 million members, 39 hospitals and more than 700 medical offices, with over 300,000 personnel, including more than 80,000 physicians and nurses. You will be able to work closely and collaboratively with Cisco’s most senior executives within Channels, Services, Technology Business Units, and Cisco’s Executive Leadership team. You will be expected to motivate, encourage, and continually develop your team while maintaining an in-depth understanding of competitive conditions, industry practices, market opportunities, and customer requirements in order maximize the value of Cisco to Kaiser and grow a profitable Cisco business.

You will also be strategic and innovative with an external awareness to understand the nuances of selling complex solutions as Cisco expands its market share. Utilizing a consultative style, you are experienced in teaching and developing your teams to identify and define client needs and develop innovative solutions.

You must be able to balance both short term and long term goals with a vision for how you will evolve your sales organization to continue to grow and deliver the Cisco value proposition over the next several years. As the Client Leader, you should have innovative tools for creating a learning organization and have proven teaming skills with peers to continue to evolve the best operating practices at Cisco. You must possess the highest level of integrity and be able to inspire trust and confidence in both your employees and your customer.

Responsibility Details:

Develop strategies and plans to drive bookings/revenue/margin growth, account penetration, technology adoption, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes for your client.

Lead the selling strategy by creating short- and long-term plans based on research and a deep understanding of business and technology trends as well as your client

Maintain and Grow deep customer relationships including the C-level.

Generate and lead accurate sales forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Ensure that sales/bookings targets are consistently met or exceeded on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Create need and deliver large, transformational proposals to our clients utilizing GES’s successful go to market programs, such as Performance IT, Sales Plays, and Lifecycle Selling.

Ensure strong interlock with the BU/BEs, Capital, Cisco’s Partner organization, external partners, Marketing, and other key stakeholders to drive the Premier vision and GTM success.

Lead compensation, rewards & recognition, and career development for your team.

Maintain and recruit a highly effective sales leadership team by providing ongoing coaching, guidance, development, and feedback.

Develop and execute against people strategies focused on acquiring and developing a diverse workforce.

Build and maintain cross functional executive relationships within your client and Cisco.

Minimum Qualifications:

BA/BS or equivalent required, MBA preferred.

7+ years team management experience

10+ years in senior roles selling solutions to C-level/ VP executives in the Enterprise marketplace

Demonstrated track record leading significant revenue responsibility and or profit/loss center and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals

Healthcare Industry experience.

Demonstrated ability to provide executive presence, thought leadership, strategic vision, and effective communication (both written and verbal) to influence cross-functionally.

Proven ability to work cross functionally with engineering, finance, legal, capital, etc. to drive timely execution of customer requirements.

Strategic and innovative with an external awareness to adapt to market transitions and understand the nuances of selling complex solutions.

Excellent communication skills and ability to persuade – using simple communications that convey complex concepts in a compelling, concise, inspiring and creative way.

Adept at balancing intense short-term pressures with overall long-term goals.

Excellent command of financial metrics and P&L management experience.

Mature in management style, instilling a co-operative team-oriented culture and values diversity of people and perspectives.

An engaging leader able to inspire and create excitement with their sales team as well as across the entire organization and in the marketplace.

Depth and breadth of applied judgment, agile decision maker, demonstrated operational excellence.
