Cisco has an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and experienced IT sales professional who will be responsible for owning the transformation and growth in a leading segment of India’s Strategic Enterprise business in Pune.

What You'll Do

The Client Executive ( CE) role adds value to Cisco by delivering a well-managed, profitable and growing business through world class relationship management across the lifecycle , understanding business priorities & Cisco’s potential to address those, orchestration of efforts and observing sales-excellence practices , hence emerging as a trusted advisor to customers in the process. The CE is encouraged to deliver Sales Excellence in Relationship Management, Opportunity Management and Business Management enabled through tools, processes, executive engagement and collaboration with extended teams. Together, they help build strong trusted advisor relationships yielding high customer satisfaction and goal attainment.

Specific Job responsibilities include :

Drive growth and expand relations for a CGEM ( ITES ) account in Bengaluru. 

A leader who understands clearly the imperatives of ITES sector Digital Transformation and has demonstrated this understanding in their current role by influencing CXOs and driving outcomes . Strategic thinking, Multi stakeholders mgmt, multi geo collaboration, large deal making and strong execution focus are critical success factors. 

Experience / exposure to providing Cloud subscription services , software defined solutions and cyber- security solutions apart from an understanding of IT infrastructure solutions will be crucial .

Ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders and orchestrate the execution of strategic plans would be crucial. This is a global account management role and 360 deg relationship management will be key to success. 

Highly structured and organised in professional conduct and demonstrating excellence in Operational discipline,

Drive business value in every discussion , consultative sales approach and proposal presentation. 

Achieving a better understanding of the competitive landscape in the account.

Gaining a more in-depth focus on industry or vertical solutions to meet customer needs, and the business value proposition that Cisco offers in helping customers meet their challenges and business opportunities.

Who You Are

Ideally , 15 to 18 Years of Enterprise IT Sales Experience with background in handling Large Enterprises preferably in ITES sector. 

Desired Skills

Experience in selling to Enterprise accounts a must. Experience in selling in the identified territory will be an added advantage.

Strong time management, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Sound business decision making ability.

Ability to influence and engage senior customer executives and business decision makers.

Awareness of Cisco product, service and solutions, processes etc. an added advantage.

U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:

.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;

1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;

1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
