About The Role
The Cisco Meraki team is seeking a bold, creative product manager for our Meraki Assurance and AIOps initiative. Our customers build large, sprawling, and complex networks to power their business, and they need to understand how their network is functioning now, and that it will continue to do so.
In this role, you will own, evangelize, and implement features for our effortless network operations and superior end-user experience. You will build a bedrock foundation of trustworthy data, use that data to create sophisticated monitoring, and build transparent automation and tooling.
Cisco Meraki has changed the way the industry thinks about networking. You will team up with some of the world's best, across the Meraki org and broader Cisco community. Together, we will evolve the best network management experience in the industry. You'll develop a high degree of domain expertise, deliver high-impact presentations, and evangelize the power and simplicity of cloud-managed networking experiences.
As a critical member of the product team, your responsibilities include:
- Own and define components for the network Assurance and AIOps roadmap, with a focus on integrations, and become the go-to expert in your areas of expertise.
- Collaborate with our engineering, UX, and product teams to build and deliver experiences that delight and engage our customers.
- Work across not just the Meraki organization, but broadly across Cisco and our technology partners, too.
- Represent strategy and solicit feedback from sales, customers, and partner engagement.
- Serve as the go-to technical guide for the internal teams including engineering and product. Keep the entire team informed of industry trends and understand the market landscape
- Work with product managers and TMEs across the Cisco networking team to investigate feature and platform innovations that help customers build the networks of tomorrow
- Build & design high-quality user documentation, case studies, and presentations that optimally communicate the benefits and differentiators of Assurance solutions
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with networking protocols, products & solutions, including wireless, switching and routing
- 2+ years of product management, technical product management (TPM) or similar type of technical or engineering experience with SaaS products

- Dedication to storytelling that resonates with a broad variety of audiences and illustrates key product value propositions; comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes and seniority levels
- Proven builder of relationships with customers across the spectrum of size and complexity, with the ability to quickly assemble research to inform product decisions
- Proven record of driving successful inter and cross-team projects with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience with using data-driven decision-making to build products that deliver incremental improvements by living and breathing data and metrics.
- Constantly keep in mind enable creative and timely execution of the most important projects for the business
- Great collaborator and get work done attitude
- A passion for building great user experiences. You'd rather see one feature done amazingly well then ten mediocre features.
- A desire to not just understand how technical features work, but understand the rationale of product design choices and the ability to debate them with other experts
- Being the resident "mad scientist" who is always running an experiment about something
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bringing creativity to solve complicated problems in unexpected ways.
- Always learning, because as we advance the state of the art, it will be time to burn the old rule book and write a new one.
- Comfortable working with a diverse and inclusive team.
