What we are looking for:
Technical Knowledge:
- Installing, Configuring and Maintaining Cisco Routers (ASR9912, ASR9910, ASR9903, NCS540, ASR920, ASR903)
- Protocols like ISIS, MPLS LDP, MPLS TE, RSVP, VPWS, VPLS, L3VPN etc.
- Infra Implementing as BFD, MP-BGP, MPLS-LDP, MPLS-TRAFFIC ENGG and RSVP, BGP, MPLS LDP, TE-Tunnel, VPWS, VPLS, L3VPN etc.
- Services Configuration as P2P L2VPN, P2M L2VPN, VPLS SERVICES.
- Third party Router Configuration and Maintaining (ATN950B, CX600-X2, CX600-X8) will be an added advantage
- PTP clocking , Unified /seamless MPLS solution , BGP LU
- Hands on working experience on network deployment and traffic design and engineering.
- Sound knowledge on Optical networking
- Participate in design/implementation and migration, or problem resolution projects involving Mobility solutions
- Provide Planning, Designing, Implementation, Operation and Optimization assistance to the Customers around any of Cisco’s IP solutions
- Provide technical support for customers during software and hardware upgrades
- Good business judgment, a comfortable, open communication style, and a willingness and ability to work with teams. Ability to quickly establish credibility with the customer as well as work collaboratively and with technical professionals
- Highly focused on results, with a willingness and perseverance to make things happen through effective decision-making abilities.
- B.TECH / M.TECH BE/ BS
- 9-13 years’ experience with IP, transport related technology
- Experience in design and deployment of Wireless technology for various business segments – Service Provider, Industrial, High density, Enterprise WiFi.
· Knowledge on Switching Technologies like STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC , MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN, EVPN, LISP.
· Telecom domain knowledge : Call flow (2G/3G/4G), LTE and SS7 protocol stack and interfaces.
· Broad technical knowledge of the R&S, Data centre and its components: Applications, Network, Server and projects surrounding their planning, design, implementation, operation, and optimization.
· Good understanding of SP network services such TCP/IP,L2VPN and L3VPN, MPLS/ Segment routing.
· Quality of Service functionality
· Intermediate level knowledge & working experience on Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure will be added advantage.
· Must have delivered 2/3 IP network deployment projects or migration projects for any of the large SP’s.
· Good communication and written skills.
Requirement/ Working Hrs: Night shift / NOC Shift / Weekend working requirement- YES
Total Experience: Required experience 12-15 years with relevant minimum experience: 8-10 years

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
