About the Role
Our growing Renewals team is responsible for ensuring post-sales success and retention of our existing customers, driving renewals within North America. Our Commercial Renewals Account Managers are the face of AppDynamics to our clients, and you will have a key role in managing these relationships by being proactive to any customer satisfaction issues. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Commercial Sales team in managing and upselling accounts in our Small, Mid-Size, and Mid-Size Select Account Segments.
Ensure successful retention and renewal of approximately 100-150 existing accounts in your assigned territory, collaborating closely with the Sales team.
Maintain relationships with existing clients through quarterly check-ins, identifying new business opportunities and consultatively selling new services.
Fearless of cold calling existing customers, and starting a relationship from scratch. Be able to re-sell the value of the customer’s current environment and be their “go-to” AppD contact.
Successfully understand and articulate the value of our product to technical and non-technical buyers and be able to engage in price negotiations.
Decide when and how to collaborate with sales and technical teams to resolve client issues.

Are you intelligent, coachable, and person of strong character? If so, you are probably a fit for our team! Below are some specifics:
1+ year of Customer Success (CSR), Sales Development (SDR) or Business Development (BDR) experience, ideally at a B2B SaaS company. Other Account Management or Sales experience strongly encouraged.
Proficient in Excel, organized, detailed oriented, and always acts with sense of urgency.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales (Preferred) or equivalent experience.
