Who You Are 

Salesforce focused business systems analyst excited by solving complex business problems with advanced technical solutions.  You enjoy collaborating with business partners and technical teams in fast paced environments. Strategically minded and able to connect projects to a larger vision and roadmap.  You have:

  • 3+ years of experience delivering enterprise software solutions using Salesforce in an enterprise environment

  • Experience leading user requirement sessions focused on direct and indirect selling programs and processes

  • Experience writing detailed specifications of user requirements, business processes and procedures required to develop and implement software solutions

  • Experience communicating with business leaders to drive alignment across groups from divergent functions.

  • Deep hands on knowledge of Salesforce functionality, including complex configuration, data models and governance

  • Desire to work independently in a fast paced, high-growth team environment

  • Project management experience

  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional communication skills.

  • Experience configuring Lightning Communities, third party MDF tools, and Integrated Systems is preferred

  • Knowledge of scrum or agile processes preferred

  • Knowledge of Salesforce development processes and methods preferred

  • Salesforce Certification Certifications preferred (Certified Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant)

About The Role

AppDynamics’ Business Information Systems Team is looking for a Salesforce Channel Operations Business Analyst to support the Channel Selling and Partner Operations business processes.  You will work closely with partner-selling focused teams to scope, design and implement high quality technical solutions in Salesforce, a Lightning Community and integrated 3rd party tools. Responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain project documentation (business requirements and solution design documents, test plans) in JIRA, GoogleDocs, LucidCharts and Smartsheets

  • Collaborate with your team or project lead to evaluate and prioritize business requests within an evolving backlog

  • Research and identify cutting edge solutions to solve business problems

  • Ensure that requests from the Partner Operations team are effectively qualified, prioritized and executed within sprint cycles

  • Collaborate with your team or project lead to design best in class solutions with Salesforce 

  • Collaborate with developers as needed to design and build programmatic solutions

  • Configure updates within the Partner Lightning Community and larger Salesforce ecosystem

  • Focus on sustainable automation and reduction in manual processes

  • Stay informed of new Salesforce features and third party tools that assist Partner programs and processes

  • Perform unit and end-to-end testing for all tasks and assigned projects

  • Plan and execute end user training and testing of new Salesforce feature

  • Deploy features according to defined agile schedule
