About the Role
As the Business Solutions Product Manager, your mission will be to drive product growth and scale it through various channels. That means partnering with Channel and Sales teams to understand the business system requirements and author detailed end-to-end use cases and product requirements to be used by Engineering & Design and Operation teams. You'll be responsible for nurturing and evolving how our users buy, manage and renew our growing suite of product offerings. This role requires someone who is passionate about working with multiple business partners to deliver business platform capabilities and optimize user experiences involving provisioning and licensing.
What you will do:
Bring buying programs and product offers to life for our on-prem and SaaS offerings.
Actively engage with global sales leaders to acquire market insights, engage with business partners and back-office teams to understand how the business transacts, build data driven product plans, and ensure its execution.
Partner closely with legal, sales, finance, services, support, product, marketing and operations leaders on designing and developing a coherent partner strategy and executing on it.
Develop empathy for our customers and field teams so that you truly understand the Customer and their needs. You will articulate those needs within AppDynamics and lead product initiatives that build solutions tailored to meet those needs as they evolve.
Prioritize the product backlog and engage with various audiences to make strategic and tactical decisions.
Socialize our roadmap with customers and internal audiences to constantly promote and optimize our strategy.
Define success metrics for your product, track progress, and build plans to act on analysis.
You are a product manager who is passionate about understanding market gaps, building an insightful, easy to use product and positioning the product to address the gaps. Your ability to ask questions, form opinions backed by judgment and facts, solve problems, establish relationships and consensus, and stay on top of the execution details are crucial to how you deliver the product. You pay attention to detail, are highly analytical, resourceful, collaborative, and have the ability to work under time constraints to meet expectations. You have a true passion for building delightful customer experiences.
Your qualifications are:
4+ years of Product Management experience, with a consistent record of shipping software in a high growth company and building great end-user experiences that deliver real value without complexity.
Technical or business background (Bachelor's degree), and can represent the product perspective in technical discussions. MBA a plus.
Strong grasp of technical concepts especially around enterprise CRM systems, provisioning, licensing and billing systems. Knowledge of ETL workflows is a plus.
Experience leading the purchase and partner experiences for a software company. This includes trial and onboarding workflows, information architecture, in-product and standalone help/support experiences.
Capability to break down sophisticated problems into manageable goals and finding simple solutions to meet diverse needs. Ability to articulate clear requirements and customer needs to a cross-functional team.
Excellent judgment and a sense of prioritization, along with an ability to see the story in qualitative and quantitative data. Ability to organize, plan, and sequence projects. You can run multiple projects without compromising results.
Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Operations, UX, Pricing, Marketing and influence other teams to get things done, with an eye for building the ‘right’ thing.
Demonstrated ability to influence decisions across all company levels, especially without formal authority
Familiarity with design and development methodologies including Agile/Scrum/Kanban
