What You'll Do

This role is focused on the ANZ Service Provider market working with large customers to drive infrastructure solutions for 5G and adjacent technologies. You will be the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.

  • Building relationships within all layers of a key Service Provider.
  • A strong understanding of Cisco’s relevance and strategies in this market.
  • Actively creating new business opportunities.
  • Dealing within a competitive market including success with large/complex displacement deals
  • Creating and driving comprehensive account strategies
  • Demonstrating a complete approach to business operations (forecast, weekly commit, pipeline development)
  • Displaying leadership through sharing of knowledge/skills and act as a source of expertise for others.
  • Partnering effectively with internal and external parties to build solutions
  • Ability to build CXO level stakeholder relationships

Who You'll Work With

We are currently recruiting an experienced Account Manager to move into Cisco’s Service Provider Business Unit. This is an exciting space for Cisco and the successful candidate will have the responsibility for leading the engagement within a large ANZ SP customer that relies on strategic partners like Cisco to enable their transformation to new business models and go to market offerings to ensure their long term competitiveness.


Who You Are

  • 10+ Years of IT Sales Experience with sound knowledge of the Service Provider market.
  • Experience selling to Service Providers in ANZ is ideal.
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication/presentation/negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of Service Provider business and operations
  • Experience selling 3GPP technologies, IP networking and automation software applications to Service Provider customers
  • Ability to work & relate with business & people at all levels
  • You have a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
