You are the key contact for our customers. You will own and nurture the relationships, building and executing the sales strategy.

You will be the Senior Account Manager owning the sales activities of several Public Sector accounts in Israel. You will work with Global Virtual Sales, Marketing, Central/EMEAR teams, Capital, Distribution, and all technology teams and drive Cisco sales via our partners as well as to deliver our message to the market and energize a whole region with Cisco vision and products.


In this job you will:

  • Prospect and build strong relationships within the assigned set of accounts by developing key relationships up to CxO level and encouraging a unique customer experience.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Plan and execute the sales strategy in order to meet the agreed achievements and timescales and to ensure that sales targets are achieved or/and exceeded.
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients to expand sales
  • Identify new accounts to sell our solutions to, to fulfill turnover goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to improve profits
  • Own and develop the Cisco Account Management Business Plan.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional team members to deliver complete business solutions.
  • You will closely with the Cisco Partners team, to drive the strategy and delivery of new solutions, products and services.
  • Prioritize sales activities on all selected accounts by using all assigned Cisco resources and the partner landscape including partner campaigns.
  • Deliver accurate business metrics, monthly forecasts, weekly commits and pipeline development reports.
  • Maintain a high-profile Cisco presence in the marketplace through the creation of win cases situations with customers that turn a sales relationship into a long-term partnership.
  • Anticipate any change in the opportunities, market, customer needs and requirements that could impact the overall revenue target.

You will report to the Public Sector Regional Sales Director and you will join a highly skilled and creative team of Account Managers, Technical Pre-Sales, Partners, and Technology specialists focusing around our customers’ needs and market opportunities.

Who You Are


You will bring:

  • +10 years of sales experience in a dynamic IT, Software, Services and Solution business.
  • Deep knowledge of the Public Sector market and existing relationships and/or a track record of selling into Public Sector accounts in Israel
  • Hunting mentality and approach towards designated tasks.
  • Proven experience in selling complex technical solutions to executive management.
  • Demonstrate success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Capable to understand, articulate and position the value of a technology-based solution to the customer.
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
  • Native Hebrew and fluency in English, both written and spoken. 
  • Based in Israel.

  • Knowledge of the Partner Community in the Public Sector Market.
  • Ability to match customer needs with state-of-the-art technology solutions and partners to deliver them.
  • Negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to our customers, partners and Cisco overall.
  • Confidence in applying business and financial expertise to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Ability to use and engage internal resources such as Marketing, Technology Experts, Services and others.
