The APJC Partner Programs Business Development Manager role is to drive the Design, Implementation and Governance of the APJC Partner Programs Stack.

You are primarily responsible for :

  • Inspire change management for the Partner Programs Stack
  • Understand the end-to-end processes required to deliver an enhanced partner experience.
  • Run enablement sessions both internally and externally helping partners understand the key changes and benefits.
  • Ensure that the operating cadence is followed by the key partners on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Monitor and track key operating metrics on the performance of the partner business.
  • Develop dashboards and other tools as required to provide visibility into the partner business and tracking of various initiatives
  • Conduct deep dive analysis to improve deal registrations.
  • Collaborate with other Cisco cross-functional organizations including sales operations, marketing, architecture, sales teams, partner or and distribution teams to ensure smooth operational cadence.
  • Develop presentation and analysis for business reviews with the theatres, regional and global leaders
  • Work with IT and other teams on continuous improvement of business processes and operations related to the business performance, including automation of existing processes

Who You Are

To be successful, the APJC Partner Programs Business Development Manager needs to understand the overall partner organization structure, the GTM, as well as the various routes-to-market (RTM) for the partner business. The Program Manager should understand various systems and processes required to support the execution of the partner business – including the partner tools, partner insights dashboards, partner planning platform, partner program stack and the overall PAM execution framework. In addition, will need to have the process and analytical capabilities required to support the daily operations of these activities and deliver insights into the process improvements.

  • 10+ years’ experience in channel sales (preferable), business and sales operations or program development/management in the IT industry (preferable)
  • Strong understanding of systems and processes required to drive operational perfection
  • Strong analytical capabilities: comfortable with financial modeling, performance measurement and analysis, return on investment.
  • Excellent planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and provide support to teams working remotely
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills. Able to articulate complex ideas and strategies to people at all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with Cisco’s products, architectures and services offerings.
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills are required
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university/college. Master’s degree will be an added plus.
  • Support pivotal initiatives with actions and critical metric tracking.
  • Derive processes and operations to support change management initiatives.
  • Aligning operations with Cisco's overall strategic priorities, providing feedback to leadership. Become a trusted advisor for the leadership team, supporting critical business decision-making by providing validated fact-based analysis.
