Meet the Team:

Join a forward-thinking team that is transforming traditional analytics into AI-powered business intelligence solutions. Reporting to the AI Lead, the AI Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI and machine learning models to drive innovation and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including large language models (LLMs), deep learning, and automation frameworks, while contributing to impactful solutions that redefine organizational processes and decision-making through sophisticated data visualization and analytics platforms.

Who You Are

As an AI Engineer with a strong BI focus, you will be responsible for implementing AI solutions under the guidance of the AI Lead, while also developing robust business intelligence capabilities. Your role will involve hands-on development of machine learning models, data pipelines, and AI-driven applications that enhance data exploration and visualization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into existing BI systems and workflows while staying updated on emerging technologies. This role requires a strong technical foundation in both AI and analytics, problem-solving skills, and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models across domains such as deep learning, NLP, computer vision, LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude), and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
  • Design and build robust data pipelines and ML workflows in the Snowflake environment for training, evaluation, and deployment of AI models.
  • Create advanced data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau to communicate AI-driven insights to stakeholders.
  • Optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction and transformation in Snowflake, supporting both traditional BI and AI model development.
  • Develop text-to-SQL capabilities using Snowflake Copilot and Cortex to democratize data access across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the AI Lead to design and implement scalable AI-enhanced BI systems that align with business goals.
  • Optimize prompts for LLMs and contribute to prompt engineering strategies for frameworks like LangChain and Hugging Face.
  • Create multi-agent AI ecosystems that can automatically generate reports, analyze trends, and provide recommendations based on business data.
  • Replace manual analytics workflows with AI-driven automation to streamline operations and reporting processes.
  • Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance and iterate on solutions for continuous improvement of both AI models and BI dashboards.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into existing BI processes and tools.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in BI and Analytics including hands-on experience developing machine learning models and deploying them in production environments.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience performing complex analysis, standardizing queries, and building large-scale relational datasets in Snowflake or similar MPP databases.
  • Proficiency in Python programming with experience using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Demonstrated experience with Tableau or similar BI tools (Power BI, Looker) for creating dashboards and visualizations from complex datasets.
  • Practical experience working with Snowflake for data warehousing, including understanding of performance optimization and data modeling best practices.
  • Knowledge of GenAI frameworks such as LangChain or Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Experience working with advanced techniques like RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) or agent-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT models) and experience in prompt engineering or fine-tuning pre-trained models.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data preprocessing and pipeline development.
  • Experience with MLOps tools (e.g., Kubeflow) for model deployment and lifecycle management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake Copilot or Cortex Analyst for AI-powered data analysis.
  • Familiarity with multi-agent systems and their application in solving complex BI tasks.
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into existing BI platforms and workflows.
  • Knowledge of implementing text-to-SQL functionality to enable natural language queries against data warehouses.
  • Experience building end-to-end data platforms that combine traditional BI and modern AI capabilities.
  • Strong debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in ML pipelines or deployed BI systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying scalable AI and BI solutions
