What You'll Do

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be a leader of strategic infrastructure programs and initiatives for our on-prim & hybrid clouds who deliver through extensive cross-functional collaboration, partnership, detailed planning, and flawless execution to ensure product and client success.

Who You'll Work With

This is a highly cross-functional role involving engagement with various infrastructure services, application teams, supply chain and STO (Security & Trust Organization) to work on cloud strategy and migration strategy for move to the public cloud. You will be a key member on a high-performing team working closely with a group of Directors, Managers, Architects, Principal Engineers and Technical Leaders. You will be working with the team of highly qualified project managers for the Lifecycle compliance of Compute and storage lifecycle and the software inventory. You will be working with finance team for the budget approvals and spend planning.

Who You Are

  • You will own and drive program requirements and specifications, ensuring focus and prioritization aligns with our clients for their infrastructure requirements and keep their applications running on the latest and greatest infrastructure.
  • You will manage a Project Management Office focused on Lifecycle compliance and Business Operations
  • You will bring people and teams together by collaborating with service owners, architects, product engineering and operations team to build consensus and drive application move to latest Bare Metal/Virtual infrastructure
  • You will partner closely with services owners, business operations leads and delivery managers to establish and maintain Lifecycle compliance across the global infrastructure components like Compute, storage, and software
  • You will gather and lead executive and stakeholder updates around hardware and software lifecycle compliance
  • You will promote our Integrated Lifecycle compliance strategy by working with clients across Cisco and highlight knowledge through webinars, brown-bags and deep dive sessions
  • You will work with capacity team to keep the right demand and supply for the computer hardware requirements for the projects and grow and maintain strong understanding of relevant technologies, improvise the processes and update the policies as required from time to time
  • You will work with the data analyst for capturing the quarter over quarter target achievements and publish them in relevant context
  • You will be responsible for creating the RACI and manage the resource requirement for the relevant projects

Technical Expertise / Experience Required:

We are looking for individual with strong Program Management skills, technical capability, business acumen and excellent communication skills.

- Prior experience working in Infrastructure - Network, Compute, Virtualization, Storage, Database, Container and Opensource technologies

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and initiatives with confidence in a dynamic environment
  • Adept at cross-functional and organizational collaboration, influence, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in agile processes, tools, devops delivery model, software engineering and release practice
  • Knowledge and experience on budgets, finances, cost modelling and forecasting
  • Self-starter who learns quickly with minimal supervision
  • Ability to build relationships, be culturally sensitive, have goal alignment, have learning agility
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science engineering, or relevant technology is required. PMP & Agile certifications preferred
