We are seeking an Automation Architect experienced supporting automation and orchestration tools with the underlying physical and virtual infrastructure technologies in a complex enterprise organization, and motivated to work with our most strategic and impactful customers in support of their aggressive transformation agendas. A seasoned mix of broad automation solution expertise and networking knowledge, as well as excellent communication and consulting skills, has well-positioned this Cisco team making us trusted advisors capable of building solid, long-term relationships with our customers.

As an architect who specializes in Automation and Orchestration, you will support our customers development of complex designs, assist with the implementation of Cisco leading edge technologies, and provide optimization services to one Cisco's largest and most strategic customers in the United States.

Who You'll Work with

USPS requires a forward-thinking, self-starting engineer with software, automation and orchestration modern networking skills to provide   green-field and problem resolution support to large and high-profile government customers. The successful candidate will join the dedicated program service team responsible for the delivery and support of the software automation and orchestration services from Cisco.

The goal of Cisco Services is to help our customers accelerate business results using an architectural approach, proven practices, and Cisco expertise. Through consultative planning, solution development, and deployment services, we help our customers optimize their Operation and IT services; integrate new technologies into their core networking infrastructure; manage change; and strive to help our customers continually enhance network performance, availability and security.

The Public Sector Customer Experience involves helping to craft the customer's vision for their network and maintain a secure, state of the art environment that is second to none in terms of network up time and reliability. The qualified architect on this account will be able to have an impact on this Federal Government customer and help them transform to meet their mission.

Who You Are

•  Our minimum qualifications are the following:

•  Sole US Citizenship and hold a current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance at a minimum to be considered for this position – Full Scope Polygraph preferred.

•  Strong Communication Skills – Facilitation, Listening, Presentation

•  Technical expertise: Strong focus on automation, orchestration, and enterprise routing and switching solutions.

•  Strong Cisco product knowledge and understanding.

•  Ability to operate effectively far outside one’s comfort zone.

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Administration, IT Security, etc.

Desired Skills:

•  Strong Software engineering experiences

•  Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)  

•  Experience in Cisco Enterprise networking

•  Knowledge in Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) solutions a plus

•  Strong documentation and customer facing skills – to be utilized for case management, knowledge capture and knowledge transfer.

•  Resolution leader, problem solver, and positioned to ask the right questions
