The Media Operation within Global Service Provider has an opening for a seasoned NYC-based sales professional.
This Account Manager will be partnered with a strong team consisting of LA and NYC- based Systems Engineers to assist in driving the strategy and execution across important Media and Entertainment customers (including broadcast and post-production customers).
This is an exciting opportunity to sell all Cisco technologies and an ideal candidate will be familiar with the entire Cisco Portfolio including: Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Video Software and Solutions, Cisco Cloud Services, Orchestration, Collaboration and Security solutions as well as theCisco Media Blueprint.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working in very dynamic, complex customer environments at the most senior levels.
A strong candidate will have a passion for the Media Industry, with a high energy level and the ability to lead/inspire a collaborative team as well as an ability to balance strategy and urgent tactical demands.
Strong executive presence and written communication skills, strong BU relationships, and the ability to navigate across Cisco’s cross functional areas (Services, Cisco Capital, Marketing, CTO Office and Architecture Teams) effectively are a must. This Account Manager would be onsite with the customer a least 3 days a week in NYC with occasional travel to Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have experience successfully managing a complex account and customer base, and is eager to engage in solution selling and co-development opportunities with this customer base.
